Well, that time has come as we count down to the last few weeks of running Tub Cottage as a holiday let when we close our doors on the 3rd January 2026. We have seen so many of our long standing guests during this year for their last stay at the cottage and have been overwhelmed by their lovely final comments in our guest book. There has been lots of saying goodbye and some tears too, particularly from guests who have been staying with us over the past 12 years. We have followed their lives, and they have followed ours too. Many have seen May grow up and are thrilled to know that she is soon to move into Tub Cottage and call it her home.

We thank you all for choosing to stay with us over the years and are so pleased that we have provided a special place for you to spend your holidays. We have loved meeting and greeting our guests and we will really miss this. However, we are also looking forward to having our Saturdays back and also to helping May settle into her new home and to spending time there with her (hoping for some lovely meals being cooked for us!). We know that, like our guests over the years, May will spend many special and happy times there.
