Firstly, a Happy New Year to all our guests. We hope that 2024 has started well for you. As always, we have started our New Year with a full clean down and maintenance of Tub Cottage, getting the essentials done such as testing and servicing as well as decorating every room throughout this year, and checking that everything is in full working order. It’s lovely for us to spend extended time at the cottage and appreciate the views, particularly from the front bedroom window – such a wonderful view across to Axe Edge near Buxton.

Our first guests of the year arrive this week, and bookings are now starting to come in for the Summer months. It is lovely to welcome our regular guests back again and also meet new guests who are visiting for the first time. We hope you will enjoy your holiday with us, and look forward to seeing you soon.

See below for a few photos of our newly painted rooms, using Farrow and Ball Lime White on the walls and Off White on the woodwork. Thanks to our local painter and decorator for undertaking the task of decorating every room during the first few weeks of January 2024!
